Could I save skill points to use at a different level?

No, all skill points should be used when they are acquired. Especially now that we are placed in a different world. Which means everything you have to this point needs to have come before the teleportation. (i.e. no arcane knowledge of new area, etc).
Hope that helps.

Re: Online D&D Gaming
I consider all natural knowledge the same eg. this is an oak tree that is a tiger. However you can't have local knowledge, such as that is an archon of the imperial guard in the 3rd dynsaty, the third dynasty was brought down by the second reformation (I'm just making up examples). Ras you say youre now a 3rd level cleric. Did you put all your xp into gaining 3 levels of cleric?.

Re: Online D&D Gaming
10+k xp is 5th level so I put 3 levels into cleric and 1 lvl into ranger... this would make me a 3rd level cleric and 2nd lvl ranger and a 5th lvl overall

Re: Online D&D Gaming
I would assume that the group needs to work out a system for dividing the goods acquired. Such as all gold/coins/gems get divided equally. Weapons should also be placed in a pool but the person who found or acquired that item should get first picks.
Common sens also needs to be envoked if items can't be used by one should be given to another in the group. Items that know one needs (i.e. old armor, weapons, etc) those should get sold and funds divided.
As a group we need to spend some time during the next session on Tuesday to discuss the treasure and our level advancements.

Re: Online D&D Gaming
Damn I did forget to list the 23 gems that were also picked up, either in the bag of holding or by characters that were snatching items without knowing what they were.
That would add an additional 5050gp to the 3212 + 154gp (ep's converted) for a total of 8,416.
Which means each would receive 1683gp (assuming Draknor is not with us).
Or 1402gp if he makes it.

Re: Online D&D Gaming
Sorry I've been away. I had a viral infection that really layed me low. I'm going back to the doctor (for a third time) on monday. However, I am slowly recovering and should be able to play again this tuesday, 9/21/04.
Um, do I need to acquire anything besides the players handbook?

Re: Online D&D Gaming
Great to hear from you Draknor!
Glad to know things will be getting better. We kept Draknor warm and he's ready to go up in levels.
Getting the Player's Handbook will help a lot. Especially now that you have some levels to add. There are a ton of options. Any other book will be icing but not needed as much. Maybe the Monster Manual to help you learn more about your foes.
