Re: SEV Betatest...
Strange form for a pure lottery
And yes, there is. The spammers best loved app, reworked a little by evil hackers so that it brings email servers to their knees. Actually, a little script would do the job. CPU usage could be controlled from the OS.

Re: SEV Betatest...
So wait...
I'm going to have to send my application a hundred times to make it worth while? Can't we all just play fair and let one app be good enough? I don't want to sit in front of my computer all afternoon and night.

If you submit multiple beta applications, at best they will be ignored, at worst, you'll be taken out of consideration.
Just submit the complete application with the best information possible.

Re: SEV Betatest...
My guess will be that Aaron will quickly look through them all to ensure no duplicate entries and to auto-accept anyone who meet certain criteria (if he has any)

Not "auto-accept" so much. Last time, SEIV had around 100 testers... after the first round of 50. I don't know if it will be the same this time, but I doubt there will be infinite places for testers.

Re: SEV Betatest...
I wonder how many beta slots will go to specific people who have been pre-picked for previous experience with MM and Aaron?? I also wonder how many slots there'll be, and just what the odds of the average guy like me (with no previous beta-testing experience, no SE related websites, etc) getting in will be. Not good I suspect...
On a more cheerful note, can anyone remember when SEV is supposed to be complete and available to buy?

Re: SEV Betatest...
The lottery is specifically for the people Aaron has no experience with... any random person could potentially be selected.

Re: w00t Beta Testing w00t
In that case I guess it depends upon system specs mostly eh? To get the greatest variety of systems tested and the game stable on a wide variety of settings.
