Sorry...

Seeing the Ents and the Huorns was the part I was most looking forward to in the Two Towers. I couldn't remember the part where Aragorn fell in the river either but even if I felt the second was a let down from the first, I'll be heading to see the third either on Boxing Day, when it is released here in Oz, or soon after.
Did anyone else hear that Peter Jackson would like to do a remake of The Hobbit too?

Re: OT - Return of the King trailer
The Aragorn falling into river scene was not part of the book, and did not really add anything at all to the story that I could determine.

Re: OT - Return of the King trailer
I can just about cope with Aragorn falling into the river, I can also cope with the Arwen add-ons (mainly cos Liv Tyler is such a fox), I can just about cope with Faramir not being the noble heroic chap he was in the book, I can even cope with the Hollywood scenes but what I cant cope with (and my only criticism of both the movies) is the bloody elves turning up to save the day at Helms Deep.
They were not there, dont presume to invite them!!!
Next thing is we might get an army of hobbits pitching up for the Pelennor Fields!!

This separated Aragorn off from the rest of the group so that he could see the approaching army. To get a real sense of the numbers, and of urgency, they needed him to find them while he was off by himself. In the extended Version it also highlights his relationship with that horse.
At least, I think that's what it's about.
