Re: Misc. Icons and Pics
Picking up a new thumb drive tomorrow to load the large number of
detailed and well-executed LSVR icons onto. Some LBM images, too. We're moving to Florida from the winter-wonderland state of Michigan and I'll be out of action during the four months our Florida house is being built. Around November of this year we'll unpack all of our earthly possessions including [at last!] my game computer! It will be a long, cold four months cut off from one of my favorite activities. As always, thank you scorpio_rocks for all of your effort and hard work. I, we-all benefit.

Re: Misc. Icons and Pics
Now if you're still feeling ambitious/generous I've long wanted variants on Icon#147/327 (jeep) and Icon#209/262 (unarmored HMMWV) with a 2-wheel trailer (example Icon#670).
I don't know about the other services but commonly each USMC Rifle Company has at least one jeep/HMMWV with a trailer that acts as an ammo resupply vehicle for it's platoons' small arms(would carry an ammo crate).

Re: Misc. Icons and Pics
A few things that I did for my own benefit in a riverine campaign with the USMC in Vietnam. I realise that very few will use them but for those few:
"Tango" Boat - ATC (H), Troop Carrier with elevated Helipad
Moored Artillery Barge with 2x 105mm Howitzer
Moored "Ammi" Barge with Helipads
Empty "Ammi" barge
Attached .zip contains all .bmp files:

Re: Misc. Icons and Pics
Some more stuff with probably very limited appeal, sorry - some "convoy" stuff.
First up a Barge Carrier based on the USMC LSVR / US HEMTT (to "complete" the "set" lol):
I can't be the only person to do "convoy" style scenarios (can I?) so a Gun Truck is always a welcome addition!
The M985 HEMTT armoured "Gun Truck":
This one has a GMG in the cab position, a twin .50 in the tail and 2 side mounted .50 cals.
Last, for now, the C-RAM Centurion land based CIWS:
Attached, as usual, .Zip file contains 3 icon .bmp, .Lbm of gun truck.

Actually I'm working s-l-o-w-l-y on a campaign that centers around a convoy making it's way from Bagdad to the coast in the wake of an ISIS coup.
Scenario #1: Bagdad; rescue and collect various allied embassy staff and civilians, mount up your vehicles (you start with crews in garrison), get the hell off the map before you're cut off or overwhelmed by the mob. Since there's no way to give units a negative point value you "win" the scenario by losing, because if you slaughter essentially unarmed civilian protesters you get your picture in the news ... and not in a good way. Actually armed opposition units have their point value set to zero so you don't lose points killing them.
Scenario #2: Iraqi military base; part of your CORE force is involved with training with Iraqi units, one reason ISIS staged the coup now, your command is split. A chaotic free-for-all as loyal and disloyal units are scattered all over the place. Try to salvage as many loyal Iraqi units as possible to expand your CORE and of course get yourself USMC units off the map with minimal losses.
Scenario #3: Bagdag airport: the final part of your CORE is at the airport with your aircraft and helos. Hold off the assault as the rest of your CORE (that survived scenarios #1 and #2) race to the rescue.
Scenario #4: Highway to Hell: Get your convoy across the map intact.
Scenario #5: Bloody River: You need at least one bridge intact as tanks and trucks don't float and you have no bridging equipment. Or abandon them ?!?
Scenario #6: Highway to Hell Part 2: More ambushes on your convoy.
Scenario #7: Rearguard: Your previous battles have allowed a sizable opposition force to catch up to your convoy, "enjoy" a rearguard action!
Scenario #8: Grind Them Beneath our Treads: ISIS acquired a LOT of Iraqi armor, and everyone knows the USMC has all of four tanks (minus any lost in previous scenarios). Can your depleted battalion survive an armored brigade assault?
Scenario #9: Homecoming: The port is in sight! Use aircraft and naval artillery to break contact and get your convoy to safety.

Re: Misc. Icons and Pics
Doh!
Spot the Brit! For those upset brethren from "Over the pond" I have included, attached here, the missing .Zip file including an "American" Gun truck set up to drive on the "wrong side" of the road and without the "british" cage armoured cab.
.Zip Includes all 4 Icon files (.Bmp), picture (.Lbm) and pretty Jpeg.
and I remembered to attach it this time!

Re: Misc. Icons and Pics
Those boats are great. Hmmm... , I think you are the right man for the German amphibious landing craft.
