There seems to be some kind of misunderstanding what this game is about.

but uhh, building bowmen? How do you "build" bowmen? I've heard of recruitng/hiring, but never this. You take a bowman and a bowwoman and screw them together, so to speak. The result is put on the assembly line, and has essential parts attached by unskilled labour, and the quality often suffers as a consequence, but eventually a bowchild exits the assembly line.

There seems to be some kind of misunderstanding what this game is about. Just because you are always fighting war doesn't mean you can't take a break once in a while and enjoy practicing your spells or constructing things. It is essential to take a break after a big battle so you can regain your strength.

but uhh, building bowmen? How do you "build" bowmen? I've heard of recruitng/hiring, but never this. Just what kind of god are you? Get clay, add water, mix and stir in a soul or two (I happen to know a good deal should you be in short supply), and then hand it a bow.
Anyway, in my spare time, I imprint the souls of my fellow beings, which I consider an utterly peaceful occupation. Alternatively, I devour the brains of those resisting. Mindlessness is peace. Yo.

Re: What do you do with your spare time?
I spend it browsing the college catalogs.
I can take classes in Evocation for powerful incantations that never hit. Generally I gravitate towards Construction or Conjuration because I like it when there's a real, physical result to what I do. Also, I forget to give gems to commanders frequently. I never forget to give them horror harmonicas or whatever.
I like to imagine that when the tide of war has slowed down for a while, my bulbous-headed Great Sage likes to kick old people.

You have that artifact?! How much do you want for it? All I got is a few mandragoras and some nature gems. What you want for it?

That's not true, I'm doing peaceful things also.
You'll note that I specifically stated I was promoting world peace. I also work to end world hunger.

Re: What do you do with your spare time?
Edit: Sorry misread the topic.
In my spare time I am asking random people in the streets politely if they would mind casting the spell communion slave to help me increase my magic skill.

Re: What do you do with your spare time?
In between battles I tend to summon random creatures (whatever I have enough gems to get), forge magic items and then forget which commander I forged it for. Oh, and I check and see if the scouts that I have watching my Harvesters of Sorrow are still alive, and then chuckle at the damage if they are.
