Well, if you can do a bank transfer in the euro zone, I can order and pay DomIII for you, and send you my bank account data so you can pay me back the game.
PM me if interested.

Here they'll throw crefit card in you back when you're 18.
And even more so if you are US Military. Creditors love the military. Its so hard for you to skip out on a bill.

Endoperez said:I got a Visa Electron some time ago, and it's a credit card, but a whole lot more limited than most credit cards. Only allows online orders from those shops verified with "Verified by Visa", which is independent and doesn't come with the usual verification agencies' services. No Shrapnel store, no Amazon, not even most Finnish stores.

In other words, I share your pain.
Heh, I have VE but I don't even have the "order from Verified by Visa" feature allowed. In other words my VE is just a glorified bank card.

RoyalOak: I'll look into that if I haven't got Dom 3 ordered after my 18th birthday which happens to be on october 18th. Then I can finally take care of my own bank bussines.

Heh. Here in the USA, they start sending pre-approved CC offers long before 18. They also send them to dead people.

( Oh - no ATM cards in northern Europe that double as Visa? Very common here - acts like VISA, comes straight from bank account though. )

ATM card?
Automaattikortti. I'm not sure what ATM stands for, but a wild guess would be Automatic Teller Machine.

The Visa Electron people have talked about is the "acts like visa but straight from the bank account" card of choice around here, but with serious limitations. Useful when going abroad, real hinder when trying to buy something in Finland. I've got a combined visa/ATM card and it's a lot better deal, but you need to be either working or a student to get it. Army doesn't count, being paid a little over 3 euros a day is not something you could pay your debts with.

Um, and for your Finns, also I can act as your proxy in getting the game if you want so. With an added comfort of being able to operate within Finnish banking system and being able to easily travel to my place and beat me up in case I screw your orders. Send me an IM if you want.

Thanks Atul. If the store which I'll check out in monday turns down my request I'll look into this.

Dunno about the rest of Europe, but they exist in the UK. My atm card used to just be a Switch debit card - I could use it to buy online (or in regular high street shops for that matter), but only if it was in UK pounds. The last time it expired however, the replacement they gave me was a Visa debit card, which I can use with any currency (and thus buy online with the same freedom as a credit card). Only downside is the lower protection (since it comes direct from my account rather than via a credit card company) and a £1.50 service charge when I buy in foreign currencies.

As I say, dunno about the rest of europe, but for those having difficulty accessing the means to buy online it might be worth looking into.
(edit: can't rememember if I was employed or not when they gave me it, but there wasn't any application or screening process that I was aware of)
