Man does a spaceball quote date you? In that case what if you did a Monty Python movie quote, how dated is that.

Which version of Shahrivar are we looking at. Also, how will we handle starting locations?

Re: New (as yet unnamed) MA game (Map? )
I'm not sure which one I've been looking at. I'll check on that when I get home.
IIRC, there are versions with and without special sites?
I'd prefer set starting location, but I don't know of a version of Shahrivar with 11 presets and I'm not sure I'm up to the task of trying to select 11 fair locations.

That's alright who needs fair locations, just give me the best one and all will be okay.

That's the reason for my asking the question. Love the map, but not sure there are that many fair starting locations on the map.

Re: New (as yet unnamed) MA game (Map? )
I know there's a version with 10. It should be possible to cram one more in. Though if the 10 includes a water start, it'll be two more...
Maybe I'll fire off a couple of 11 player random start versions and see how bad they look.
The main things to consider are number of connections and distance between capitals, right? And don't start anyone in the middle of vast wastelands, but I don't think that's much of a problem on this map.
I'd be fine with another map suggestion too, if you can find one that fits us better.

Re: New (as yet unnamed) MA game (Map? )
Sorry for the delay.
I keep thinking I'll have time to try to sort out start locations. I played with it a bit but didn't really get anywhere.
So if no one objects too strongly to random starts, I think we should just start. We'll use Burnsaber's modification Shahrivar_SomBurn.

Re: New (as yet unnamed) MA game (Map? )
I did a no indies version with 10 starts, none of them water. There's another version with 10 and indies, but I'm not sure how the starts were done on that one.

Unfortunately we've got 11 players. I looked at your version, but didn't see a way to adjust it. Mostly I'm not clear enough on what I should be aiming for.
