Re: CoE3 release
Do not know where I should post this. But, good job on the release and development of CoE3. Kudos Illwinter. I'm not going to get the game. But still good to see that Illwinter is still developing. Thanks for everything!

Re: CoE3 release
CoE3 is a great game! I am having a blast, and have enjoyed playing all of the factions I have tried so far. I am having a great epic game now as a Necromancer against a three-senator alliance of Romans.

Re: CoE3 release
PvK! Good to see you.
Have you tried any of the "Trial by Fire" challenges?
Its on the forum for www.CoE-3.com
Its been pretty popular. Im thinking maybe I should do something like it for Dom3 on www.Dom3Minions.com
There are also some fun downloadable maps there.

Re: CoE3 release
Hi Gandalf,
I just started trying the first "commoner" challenge from Trial By Fire, and it has been an addicting epic battle, which I think I am about to win, but it has taken like 20 years of game time. I ended up as a Cultist facing a Necromancer, and it was a long (fun) undertaking.

Re: CoE3 release
Very. Its Dom3 lite.
Much more solo game, much less micromanagment, and better Ais. Plus besides maps and mods, it supports scenarios. You can create downloadable maps with storys and quests and lairs and rewards and timed world-events.
Just abit ago it was on sale on Steam for $2.5o but the ever promised Steaming Hordes have not yet showed up as promised.

Re: CoE3 release
Greetings, GP.
Dom3 Lite might be just what the doctor ordered. Is it a game that can be MP?

Re: CoE3 release
It CAN be. But so far the reactions to CoE3 MP have been rather like the reactions to Dom3 as a solo game. It might be ok as a blitz game in a chat room though.
It doesnt help that none of the MP beta testers showed up.

Re: CoE3 release
CoE 3 might be thought of as Dom "Lite" but it's also fairly different in various ways. I have really enjoyed it. And yes, it can be played multi-player.

Re: CoE3 release
I do love the "Team" play. You can do so MUCH with your ally. Use their cities, use their libraries. Even the AI plays as a great team member.
