Re: Noob LA Game: Cataclysm - And Begin!
If there was any plan behind the repeated wishing for our chalice not hardly as many as Mictlan.
As we are on the topic how's Aegyr? It's emberassing but we really have no idea.
Another thing: It's turn 70. Could we switch to a 76h hosting interval?

WAAAAAAAGH! a good turn. a skratti kills a tart, and i let the stolen skratti that mictlan's evil lord had corrupted rest in peace.

That will teach me to double check my scripts before sending a turn file. Stupid weapons of sharpness on PD....

Um, sorry to say it the skratti is still there.
I think you are thinking of the werewolf you killed? That was mine, seems our spells have cancelled each other out.

Re: Noob LA Game: Cataclysm - And Begin!
Well, considering the discussion about "kingmaking", I wanted to ask here on how you feel about this.
I wasn't really intending to really stick it out in the long run, just trying to be a gameshaping power and then give the game up for "thematic" reasons (like Zukkekon doesn't care for belief of feeble mindless mortals and will leave the despoiled rest of this world to whoever has proven worthy and set out for the stars with his select followers with the items he has acquired).
R'lyeh is stronger than it's province count suggests. I have no idea if I could win in the end, if everyone played perfectly most likely not, but my actions will certainly have a big impact on who survives.
Also I think I have become to experienced for this game. When I joined it I had two real games finished, and one I practically gave up at turn 10. However now it's more like 5, and I don't really feel unsure about the battles anymore. I guess the battle for Mictlan is far from finished and the next turns might prove me terribly wrong, though the last turns have gone too smoothly for my liking.
That said I have several options.
I can play on like I planned or instead of giving up hand it to a sub.
I can try to line up a sub and let him take over the nation.
I could also play on and hand my nation over to someone who's been eliminated, when I go out.
I apologize to any player who feels hurt (though I wouldn't have played the turns differently, especially I had to take action against Mictlan if I was looking to stay in the game longer, with all that "accidentally" clashing of SCs and wishing for artifacts. No hard feeling from my side, it was all good in game action and I was feeling really cornered, hope you agree).
