Yes Kwok, I am pretty sad.

But no matter, the game goes on.

I haven't played much since I've been sick for the past couple weeks.

Well Geo, Ragnarok and I should be done within about 10-15 turns. We've both launched the fleets we've been building up for the whole game, and while he has a fleet of 46 LC's and a couple Cruisers, I have about the same amount of ships in the counter-fleet. Plus a few more lying around. Might be one of us that faces you then

Joachim and I are about done (which means I'm about done).

Stick a fork in me, I'm done!
2409.8 - Nodachi surrenders to Gozguy. Extremely late contact in this one made for an interresting "where the hell is he?" game.

OK, who will be my next tormentor?

Ahhh, so unless some other game has ended and the players didn't post here about it, my next match will be against GozGuy. I cannot wait.

What a game Nodachi!
I was terrified right until the end. When your first fleet came through the warp point and took out my fleet with no losses to your own fleet I was sure the game was over at that point I even thought I would surrender. Then decided to make you work for it.
Good luck

Well Geo so far you have an unbroken string of KOTH victories against me. But on any given Sunday.....

Has anybody heard from Rambie? I e-mailed him about game settings but haven't heard back. Of course it could be that unlike me he has a life!

Defeat.

I didn't execute crystalline strategy properly, and when I did I had already wasted hundreds of thousand of research points on missiles, allowing Kwok to get superior ECM/CS support. By the time I caught up to Kwok, he had researched shield generator destroying weapons.

Keep me on the hill, I await the next challenger. GG Kwok, had to learn the hard way that missiles are totally pointless =D.

Missiles are not totally pointless, just pointless after turn 2 or so. They still make nice weapons for that first escort, but they are awful at anything else. A certain Geo sent two DUC frigates to destroy my nine seeker frigates, and believe me, that's no fun.

KOTH has been updated.
