Tasha Yar - played by Denise Crosby (granddaughter of Bing)
Playboy did a photo shoot of her back in '79 entitled "A Different Kind of Crosby." Once STTNG became popular Playboy reprinted the spread ('88). Management had a fit and she was killed off the show.

She also did a "Red Shoe Diary" movie (nudity, sexual situations), which helped punt her off the show.

But not because she posed for Playboy. She wanted to leave the show. She was feeling ambitious and wanted to do other things. Hmm, and just what else can you recall that she has been in?

Obligatory notice: A couple years ago it was Tiffany (Darwish) trying to revive her career by posing in Playboy. Now word is out that Debbie Gibson will appear in the March 2005 edition of Playboy.

Hmm, it took about 20 years for those two. I predict that we will see Britney Spears and Cristina Aguilera in the same publication before the decade is over. Though with Britney we may wish we hadn't...
