There remains one big jotun army (thats active, there is another not attacking me iirc) for me to deal with, however its far, far away from my little queenies (one of whom likes collecting gems) that will die soon me thinks. In practically every mp game ive played in i face the same ending, i do well, make a few SC's and get plenty of mages then get steamrolled by one huge juggernaught of an army.

Oh, incidentally, my doomsday wapon is nearing completion.

Oh, crap! Pike, had I not forgotten a militia dude in that province you would have lost all of the commanders in the castle-attack, as well as the items from the wraithlord. Boy, do I feel stupid.

Well, at least the annoying sprites are gone.

It seems like this game is all about the little guys prevailing over the big guys, Ygorl V Jurri/Shovah and Shmonk vs me.

So it seems. Could be that fighting simultaneously against three opponents distracts me more than I'd like to admit. Well, Chuck and Fortu and a couple hundred vine ogres are not a small loss either, I'd like to hope. Maybe Shmonk will finally stop struggling and just die a peaceful death... Fortu was a badass and I couldn't beat him on the field, but in the end nothing could save him from my ire. (In hindsight, maybe it wasn't so smart to arm him so well after all

) Those nearly thousand kills will keep him at the top of the HoF for long after Shmonk is but a memory.
