Very well then, since I am not available until next Tuesday and it seems like nobody is going to pick my position up, I am going to put myself to AI.
Be mindful of the game leaders, any aspiring Pantokrator most probably will be pleased when neighbouring nations descend into chaos

perhaps we can look for someone to take up the position. a couple stales while a replacement is looked for will not be any different than a couple turns of AI - you are not in any war atm.

Huh, try creating a new thread looking for a sub. And wait at least 2-3 turns before turning AI. That wouldn't be really fair for other players, as it would profit just your neighbours [me and archae]. You are too big to go down [like GM and other US companies :P].

Help Required with Game Setup
Hi Everyone
I'm taking over as La Marignon, but I am running into various errors with regards the mods being used in this game. Haven't been around for 6 months or more, so it's safe to say that I'm a bit behind the times here and there. Also, it seems that only one of the mod links on the first page leads to a mod that actually works, so it might be worth updating it for the benefit of any future subs
The Problems -
1) I've downloaded the 'SingleAgeComplete' mod from the first page, but the game is asking for 'Single Age mod'. Is this just a simple renaming job, or is it a specific mod for this game? Also can't see this specifically named mod on the llamaserver anywhere.
2) Game is also asking for 'CBcomplete_1.41b'. The first page link only leads to 'CBcomplete_1.4', and the newest CBM mod I can see on the mod forum is 'CBcomplete_1.41' updated by llamabeast on 29th March 2009. It makes no mention of a 'b' version. Also checked out the mods on llamaserver and there seems to be about half a dozen custom CBM mods uploaded there. Someone want to fill me in on what the hell is going on here? Has a CBM modding war broke out or something?
3) Which version of the WoG Team Arena map do I need? The status page makes no specific mention of a version number. The first page link leads to WoG Team Arena2 (which looks to have been updated after this game started) and there's a bunch of different versions of the WoG map available on the llamaserver. If someone could nail down the one I need to use, that'd be great
4) Think it's just the 3 problems at the moment. But be surprised if a 4th doesn't pop its head up.
Thanks in advance to anyone who spends the time answering any of these problems. I've been using computers for 20+ years, so won't need step by step instructions, but do want to make sure I'm using all the right mod/map versions. As busting the llamaserver on my first day back is probably not the best thing do

Calahan:
1) You need to create a copy of the one you have and rename it. It was an issue with llamaserver that is already resolved, but it requires that renaming for older games.
2) Renamed 1.41 should be fine too. b was a hotfix for a bug with LA Agartha. Oh, it was added in that thread as attachment later. Here is the link, I will fix first post.

3) You don't need map file to play a game. It is embedded in .trn file. That map exists only on my computer and llamaserver
Let me know how much time you need to play the turn, hosting is quite close and you won't get the notice as old player submitted his turn [probably turning nation to AI].
