Random item of information: I saw on "Jeopardy!" tonight that the Vikings used ravens on their ships' flags for good fortune in battle, in case you want to incorporate that.

Testing new .sig

The ravens are a good Idea. Odin had 2 pet Ravens which brought him news. Can't remember their names though, one of them might have been Skoggi. Doesn't matter, might use them on the racial or infantry pics (on a shield or something.)

Hmm, I know a little bit about norse mythology, but I have not heard about Skoggi, yet. I'll some research and let you know, if I find something.

Svadilfari: Sleipnirs father
Tanngrisni & Tanngnost: Thor's goats that pull his chariot
Gulltop: Heimdall's horse

Some more trivia: Did you know it was Loki (the Trickster) who gave birth to Sleipnir?

Thinking about it Skoggi might hav been a mid-80s Scandinavian electro-pop group.

Odin's ravens were Hugin and Munin ("Thought" and "Memory"). He also had two wolves named Freke and Gere, and an eight-legged horse named Sleipner.

I knew about Sleipnir (The name of my fast couriers when playing Devnullmod) but not the wolves.

Who was Skoggi then? Was that one of the Dwarves?
