Never a bad idea but there are far too many tricks that unbalance the game for those that dont know them.

hehehe, agree old foe... but think most the games are like you said (SE4 too, by the way!).

Agree again. Think the Ladder times were very funny.
Never liked too much the previous age when Microft ruled thousands of galaxies (yes, I have wrote galaxies), in the SE3 times with pure rpg.
Lord Microft had a "massive" empire, but just because claimed it... he never needed to play an Se3 game to win a war.
By the way, the real person under Hadrian is named Theron Williams (you can see him in the credits for SE4 and SE4G beta testers).
Well, I'm pretty sure that Microft was a previous character played by Theron (although he never admited that, I had mails from Microft and Hadrian, having the same IP... and think still could recover those mails from a backup!).

hehehe, but I was far to be really good... many times just pretended to act moved by good reasons! (hehehe withouth the spirit to start a controversy about this matter, I was inspired by the policies of some countries in the real world, specially USA!).
At the end, think the Chaos Contingency failed just because the players where not strong enough... and to be really evil think you must be strong!
Of course that you must remember the CC moto: "The weak shall perish"... well it happened to the CC... but I must admit that the fun and the Ladder perished with them!
