Re: Dry Lands at Mosehansen - Game is Running
Cainehill: Nothing is too good for you Check out the welcomepage... I took the liberty of printing the time left until next hosting rather than since the Last, because it made more since, in my humble opion.
And you are very welcome! For a long time it was more fun coding these pages than playing, but now I feel in the mood to get my hands dirty/bloody again.
But I have to say that one has to be darn quick to reserve a spot in these times...

How is possible that is more than 10 minutes that the page says that everyone has taken his turn ... is not the quickhost option set ?

Re: Dry Lands at Mosehansen - Game is Running
The scripts I use to monitor games were crashed because I had upgraded the underlying software (and deleted the old Version).
I've restarted Dry Lands. Thanks for the heads up!
I might be quicker to catch me on Jabber, btw.

Some of the ones that Illwinter has made available on their site (Cradle, Parganos, Middle Earth are beautiful and inspire different gameplay style, while Cirlani and Farthing (and Parganos) give some choices other than Aran & Urgaea for a small / quick map and game).
Heh! Maybe you need to add Jabber notification when a game is created and open?

Map uploads are now possible Enjoy!
Jabber notification will have to wait a bit, though :/

Re: Dry Lands at Mosehansen - Game is Running
Did anybody actually want to upload any maps, or was it just for fun?

I know I'll be looking to upload the Cradle map and instigate a game with it; but as I am now moving about 2000 miles in two weeks, I figure I shouldn't start any new games - I expect to be offline as much as a week or two.
My move only solidified about 2 weeks ago, else I wouldn't be in the games I am.
But I assure you - I appreciate the feature, and look forward to taking advantage once I find a place in New Mexico and settle in.

Oh, ok. Sorry to sound so, it was just strange with the lack of responses.
I hope you will enjoy your new home. New Mexico sounds like North America somewhere in the sourthern end, so at least next winter shouldn't be so cold

Re: Dry Lands at Mosehansen - Game is Running
I (Emor) will be away till monday. So don't wonder when the next 2 turns uses the full 48 hour quickhost.
It would be fine when there are no attacks in this time

Heh. Compared to the Last 22 years (since I left backwoods Maine - very very very cold, and worse when it isn't summer ) the winter will be colder, and the summer hotter. Southern California, Florida, and southeast Asia have all been quite warm.
But New Mexico (southwest part of continental USA) has great food, very spicy, nice architecture, arts and culture; I think I'll enjoy it. Be nice to be around family again, especially for the holidays.
As long as I can find a decent place to stay, a job, and a decent internet connection.
