Somehow, the fact that you are the only person with such a lush, green lawn in the area doesn't surprise me.

This is a lot more fun than I'd thought it'd be. When Google maps first came out, I thought I needed a plugin. Now it works fine. Humph, go figure.

You mean google earth?
No.
I mean provide a nice link that is clickable from anywhere just like everybody else in the thread is doing.
(Besides, they don't let us download programs from the CSM fire control room.)

Yes, but it has been rerouted or altered course or some such since the town of Riverside was first established. It was not much of a river.

The Resolution sucks but if you're using CSM's it doesn't really matter. I live in the "brown-splotchy" area Left to Harraby Green Business Park

Yeah, that sums it up nicely. I'm not putting my home address into your CSM targetting computer...

OOoooh, forgot about using google earth attachements! Here's mine. You'll need Google Earth to view it though.
|
Yeah, it's nice to zoom in from space (or from someone else's house on another continent) and see where exactly the person is in their country.
Also, if you have the BBS markers switched on you can learn all about nearby places of interest. There are some beach-cams set up near my house, if you go in via google Earth.
Bearclaw - you ever notice that your town is shaped a lot like a map of the US and Central America? (View from about 14miles up) Why isn't Canada on there?
|
Yeah, it does look like north america. If you streatch your imagination a bit, north of the Nechacko River (that's the smaller one that runs west/east) 'could' be viewed as Canada.
I leave the BBS markers on all the time. All sorts of cool stuff shows up. Like all the live web-cams all over the place. Including 3 at Ground Zero in NY.
