Re: Artifacts II - Recruiting
What map are we going to play? I was hoping for a pure land map with 15 province/player.

Re: Artifacts II - Recruiting
Well, the easiest would be the same as the other artifact game. If people have strong preference though, I could be convinced to set one up on a different map.

Re: Artifacts II - Recruiting
19 players for less than 190 land that's rush heaven.
And considering Antilarium is minimally balanced for 9 land players (some players get all the waste provinces around him, but at least capitals are far away), 19 players would mean someone has nothing but waste close to his capital.

Re: Artifacts II - Recruiting
I'll also note rushing is a heck of a lot harder with human pretenders.

Re: Artifacts II - Recruiting
You can easily get F9W9 for mictlan and quite decent scales with an arch mage. Remember in CBM 1.3 rainbow mages get a decrease in cost. Or E9N9 bless for utgard. And so on. Let's not forget about elephants. With many capitals 3 hexes away, it is kind of hard to defeat elephants in your capital in turn 5.

Re: Artifacts II - Recruiting
And with human pretenders, it is a heck lot of harder to defend against rush for some nations.

Re: Artifacts II - Recruiting
I recommend plain old random map with 15 provinces/player or alexander map - 247 land provinces, with many natural barriers. But if the orgnizer wants to encourage blitz, I am OK with it.
