Emissive Armour/Fighter Stacking

I have not had the opportunity to try this yet but does anyone know if Gold/1.67 has cured the stacking effect for fighter weaponry?

I was hoping that emissive armour would become more effective if fighter weaponry no longer stacked (would also make some of the high damage, long reload fighter weaponry morer relevant)

Any beta testers know the answer?
