Re: For Honor, and no mercy !
i had advance knowledge of something like this. i don't know where i read it, but something like 'a war that would eventually involve all of human space'.
and he has said there will not be any space-faring aliens. i think he means 'independant space-faring aliens', since the 'cats are already spacepassengering. and spacepassengercolonizing

Oleg
The France analog is just past the Robespierre ("Rob S. Pierre". It is to weep.)Reign of Terror analog and the conniving Napoleon analog is just beginning his rise to power analog.
Start of the Napoleonic wars is JUST where the series is. Don't forget how big an influence C.J. Forster's "Hornblower" series is on Mr Weber.
And I, for one, can't wait.
(I just like the word analog today.)

The Dahak series? That's good fun, too.

yep. sounds like you have yet to discover www.baen.com, the publisher, www.baen.com/library, the publishers free library, which contains about forty books, the whole book, no weird formats or anything and www.webscriptions.net, the publishers e-book site, where with just a credit card and a login you can buy the whole book for the cost of a pocketbook, download it in html or plain text and a few other standard formats or read it on the internet with no time limits.
baen's website seems to be down right now.

Re: For Honor, and no mercy !
The Dahak trilogy can be found as a single compendium entitled Empire from the Ashes. I quite enjoyed those books as well, and he certainly left a lot to be done at the end, though I don't now if he has any intention of continuing in that universe. Seems kinda unlikely though.
There's also the 'March' series (March Upcountry, March to the Sea, March to the Stars), which is different again, but quite enjoyable.
Any new book by Weber is something to look forward to, in my humble opinion
