Re: SE4 Rating System
At the moment, luck of starting positions within the map can effect the outcome of a game and effect the Ratings.
In future games would anyone be willing to using a custom map that gives both competitors 'exactly' the same start, same number of planets at the same distance from their home world, etc?
I've designed a small map layout (only system and warp points so far, no planets) that could be used for this purpose, but I don't want to waste my time if no-one will use it.
Continue or not?

Re: SE4 Rating System
I think it will get used Baron. Probably not exclusivly or anything, people would get tired of it. But someone would used it probaly a few time at least. The UCT tourney had a map like that.

Re: SE4 Rating System
This would be helpful and could be put up for others to download - perhaps if you encouraged others to use it give feedback and discussion with some effort you could get it into wider circulation.

Re: SE4 Rating System
I have created a map designed for Koth type games where both players have exactly the same start.
I have created it specifically for Rock None empires.
Below is the stats for the map. The starting planets are in the centre of enter side.
The map can be located at PBW in the map sector or here
It is free to use or change if anyone wants. Let me know if anyone has any suggests.
Thanks.
