Re: OT: The House of 1001+ Avatars
A combination of Ruatha's Last comment and DavidG's avatar makes me want to find a pic for an alternate avatar.
First, I would love to have a Christmas'sy hat on my avatar for the holidays! Second, I have a find a "Spaceman Spiff" pic to be Gervais-ized and turned into a good avatar pic.

Re: OT: The House of 1001+ Avatars
First, I know for a fact that bmp's do NOT work for avatar pics.
Second, I don't mind doing a custom alternate pic now and then, but I would aprieciate it if you would consider adopting one of my many 'unused' avatar pics for your alternate. (after all, we are talking about a pic that will only get used on occasion as opposed to your main Avatar! Right?)
Cheers!

Re: OT: The House of 1001+ Avatars
Oh, another thing,.. If you have/find any pic that you would like me to try converting into an Avatar, you can send it to me via e-mail (see my profile for the address, and Just make sure that the word 'Avatar' is somewhere in the subject heading) or if you have a link to it on the net, just post the link here.
Ok?
Cheers, again!

Re: OT: The House of 1001+ Avatars
Ruatha,.. partly because you made the request and partly because your current 'custom' Avatar might be mistaken for one of my 'generic' animal avatars,.. I created this new Avatar for you. One thing is for sure, there will be no mistaking this one with any of the 'generic' ones.

Thanks SJ, I took a look at the images and now know that the 'planetmod' is basically a mod (bigger) Version of the 'planet.bmp' that comes with SE:4
The reason I mentionned the larger ones I have is because in the game you need the two Versions. The small one in the 'planets.bmp' and a larger one to display in the top right 'planet info/detail' window!

Both Minis and Portraits are included in the planetpack ZIP...
The GIF preview is only the minis in order to keep the size down.
It would be pointless to include extra minis without the protraits to back them up, since the game would give a horde of "image not found" errors.
And, I would be more than happy to include some of your planets (and any other miscellaneous sector-sized objects) in the planetpack.

Re: OT: The House of 1001+ Avatars
Yo! Tesco somoa.. I noticed your most recent avatar looked super squished so I grabbed it and chopped it in two. Once I saw the pic I wasn't sure if you were more interested in the man or the rodent..

Re: OT: The House of 1001+ Avatars
SJ, can you save me a bit of research? What are the sizes (WxH) for the minis and portraits of the planets? Once I know I'll make the necessary adjustments!
Thanks in advance.
