Re: mosehansen Faerun, again.!
Yeah... I was expecting me to win it too.
I was going to just dominion-kill you, but I decided it would be more fun for both of us to give you a final climactic battle.
The most frustrating thing is that the battle takes several minutes per turn on my poor five-year-old beast, so I can't even watch the damn thing.
I think Jurri's going to start up a new game in this one's slot; it'd be groovy to have you in.

Re: mosehansen Faerun, again.!
Given the number of priests I had I am not sure you could have dominion-killed me in any reasonable length of time...
I may play, though vanilla dom2 on large maps has lost a lot of appeal for me...

Re: mosehansen Faerun, again.!
You had dropped to zero dominion in your home province, last I saw - only one other province had a black candle of yours. It's amazing what surrounding someone with sacrificers weilding jade knives can do...
Now, it was the number of priests you had who happened to also be mages that proved to be my downfall.
If nothing else, my Mictlan experience has taught me to respect their dominion-spreading powers. And I only had a base of 5 on my pretender... It'd be scary to see what they could do if that were doubled.
We're talking about a not-so-large map, and parameters that make things a little different from Yet Another Dominions Game.

Re: mosehansen Faerun, again.!
Why didn't the vampires fly over the walls, though? Aren't ethereals supposed to fly during storm?
'Ey, Ygorl, how micro-intensive was it at the end? I suspect it must have been a living hell to fiddle with the saccers and the slaves.

Re: mosehansen Faerun, again.!
Vampires cant fly in storm... only a few select units can, horrors of all stripes, storm demons, air queens... anything else? Not sure...

Re: mosehansen Faerun, again.!
It actually wasn't too bad, compared with what you and Rex were dealing with. I made sure to end each turn with a couple hundred slaves so that my sacrificers could continue their bloody work without any supervision from me; other than that, It was just a matter of clicking on each blood-hunting band and hitting shift-Z at the beginning of each turn, which only took a couple minutes. It was even sort of gratifying to go from, for example, 37 blood slaves to 462... Imagine one of those thermometers that they post out in front of libraries and blood banks, filling in with red as they advance towards some fund-/blood-raising goal.
