OTOH, he has tremendous resources on which to draw, and with smart research allocation he can have fearsome battlemagic of his own - start trading those blood slaves for death casters, oh my!
So reducing him should be a goal for all right-thinking persons everywhere.

Yes, it does indeed keep climbing. The mean reason is that LA Ctis has given up defending his provinces, and hides his armies behind castle walls rather than facing me in the field. So my gains have been rapid in the last few months, but I expect that to slow down as I try to siege out his army of 400+ undead trampling charioteers.
