Edit: seems like It's Lanka that's about to stale. Overall Lanka has been strangely passive in this game so far, hard to see what the plan is. Since Pans turn is in I take it Tiavals managed to sort that out?

Nah, Klaus hasn't gone to his holiday yet, so he did that last turn. The next turn and the rest have been turned to me, so the problem isn't solved.

That's weird.

My spinal jerk reaction is you managed to download the wrong mod or map, or isn't patched properly. But wrong mod usually gives a message about the mod being amiss, and wrong map usually just crashes game to desktop... And an unpatched game would prevent you from playing any MP games at all...

Since Klaus can play the turn, that means the turn file HE got was NOT corrupt, so it's definitely not an actual failure in the turn generation or the llamaserver. That means the issue is either on your part (client problem or mod/map failure etc.) or with your mail provider/download process.

I assume you have already tried a couple resends to make sure it's not an issue of the file being corrupted in the download process? I would also try another mail service to make sure the problem is not a failure with their file management. This has happened before, a change of mail provider solved it that time.

Try playing a turn file from a couple turns back and see if you get the same problem. If you do NOT get the same problem with that turn file, then the problem IS with the actual current turn and not with your client/mods/maps, but if you DO get the same problem then the problem IS with your client/mods/maps.

Ok, so assuming the old turn has the same problem and mail service malfunction is ruled out:

What I'd try first is DELETING the map and mod and THEN reinstalling them, and also reapply the latest patch to the game. Sometimes a blunt instrument catches the glitch in the process...

If nothing else works I'd recommend doing a clean install, patch, and adding the map and mod. You can do it in a separate directory so no need to uninstall the game first.

If all the above fails, you could PM Edi or take the problem to dom3mods and we'll let the more code savvy vets there look at it.

Embarrassingly, I hadn't tried the resend for the turn. Something must've gone wrong with llamaserver. Now it works.

Hey Anaconda. I think the timer just ticked over? Are you OK with submitting turns at the moment, or do you need a pause?

Aw, thats right. I got error message but it considered another game. Sorry about that. I draw lines between the error msg and the game because I did submit the turn but host didnt seem to have received it :/

Yeah, I am playing in a few games (subbing into three for a friend who is on holiday) and am finding it a real struggle to keep them all separate!
