Re: Late Age game random settings, random nations
If there's still room, I'd like to play this game as well.
This will be my first multiplayer Dom2/Dom3 game...

Re: Late Age game random settings, random nations
I would also like to start the game. If someone else is able to host then step forward, otherwise we will have to wait for Ironhawks friend to get dominions 3 working on the server.
If we start under version 3.01 we should use the horror mod. In other words, we will use the horror mod unless there is a new patch coming out before we get going.
I'm sorry but I would prefer if this game does not grow without bounds, if it grows bigger chances are good that I grow tired of it. Why don't you three start up a new game?

Re: Late Age game random settings, random nations
OK, server is ready to go. Will start it for uploads tonight.
I was not planning to use 3.01 due to the horror bug, and the fact that there is another game on the server already running under 3.00.
No idea when 3.02 will be out but hopefully soon
I will, as usual, also be available to sub for players who need a few turns off.

Can you just use the doom horror weakening mod? I don't have the cd to reinstall my game for 3.00

Re: Late Age game random settings, random nations
I don't think there are any compatibility problems using a 3.01 client with a 3.00 server. On the other hand, mods are a bummer to set up.
Is there anything in 3.01 that's actually worth having that makes it worth the effort?

Re: Late Age game random settings, random nations
Its the newest version, so most people are using it. It also fixes abysia for me . (Blessables had their prec. and enc. switched by mistake, leading to super fast fatigue).

Re: Late Age game random settings, random nations
Given Abysia's encumbrance and precision it's hard to see that it would matter
I just don't like making everyone download a mod, but if a majority of the people support it, I will go along.

Re: Late Age game random settings, random nations
the mod takes about 15 seconds to download, put in and explain its function. Worth the time.
Unless that 3.02 is comming out this weekend, i see no reason to wait.

Re: Late Age game random settings, random nations
It fixes many bugs, including ones that cause crashes, and using the mod is not at all hard. So IMO, we should use the latest version.
