Re: NEWBIE GAME - EA - Stumble onwards to Victory! [STARTED 12/12 Remain]]
its not a victory condition, the points are just random on the map for some reason or at least my capital didnt have one.

So the game will be recreated and we have to resent our pretender , right? I saw most of the players had handed in the first turn...

We'll have to redo our first turn. Not sure if we have to resubmit pretenders. I don't think we'll have to do that...Just delete the R'lyeh pretender and have the other chap send his in.

Re: NEWBIE GAME - EA - Stumble onwards to Victory! [STARTED 12/12 Remain]]
There is no need to re-create the game, as if you
1 - Go to admin options menu on the llamaserver page and select the "Un-Start game (go back to "Waiting for Pretenders")" option.
2 - The game will (or should) go back to the top of the llamaserver screen under the "Games waiting for Pretenders" section. All the Pretenders that were sent in for the game should be listed there (anyone wishing to change their Pretender can also do so at this point)
3 - Go into the "Game settings and admin options" menu, select the "Delete Pretender" option, tick the circle next to R'yleh to select that Pretender, enter the admin password in the box, and click on Delete Pretender button.
4 - The missing player uploads their Pretender.
5 - Go into "Game Settings and admin options" again and select "Start Game Now".
6 - The game should start a few minutes later.
Doing it this way means players don't have to re-upload their Pretenders again (which would be the case if a new game was created)
Although I can't remember if you need to do a further step, which is...
2b - Quickly go into the "Game Settings and Admin options" menu and select "Turn off automatic start".
It's been a long while since I restarted a game, but I seem to remember that the llamaserver can sometimes re-start an un-created game because the default setting is for games to start once all Pretedners are in. So when you un-start a game, all the Pretenders are there, and so the game will start automatically again if you don't do step 2a or 3 fairly quickly (but llamabeast might have fixed this at some point, so it might work properly now, but thought I'd mention it anyway just in case)

Maybe a PM from admin is in order here, he may not be checking the thread anymore.

Re: NEWBIE GAME - EA - Stumble onwards to Victory! [STARTED 12/12 Remain]]
Alrighty, game has been reset all pretenders except for Proycon Lotor remain and I have deleted the Ry'Leh pretender...
As for the victory points, they weren't enabled in the first place so I think its just a map "feature" that doesn't actually line up with actual capitals...
I have disabled automatic start so if the game doesn't start overnight dont panic, im southern hemisphere and will start tomorrow .

Re: NEWBIE GAME - EA - Stumble onwards to Victory! [UPLOAD PRETENDER]]
OK in the interests of getting this game moving, and having no response from Proycon im going to open this up again to recruit one more person.....
To the person who may be interested in playing - please choose a race other than a water race and upload your pretender so I can start the game - no requirement to wait my response!
