Re: Mara - EA game for newish players - recruiting
Guys, I'm really really sorry for the silly number of false starts to this game. I seem to have been on a run of incompetence. Anyway, the final "Mara is starting!" message you got is the correct one, and you should play that turn.
Sorry again. Have a good game!

Re: Mara - EA game for newish players - recruiting
uuhmm.. is something wrong with the server? I submitted my turn about 40 minutes ago (was the last one) and received the standard message saying the turn was received well... shouldn't the new turn be in by now? I haven't received it yet.
perhaps it's just me being impatient.

Re: Mara - EA game for newish players - recruiting
It sent all the new turns out successfully, including yours (you can see on the website that it's gone on to the next turn and some people have already taken it). Have you checked your inbox isn't full or anything?
Sometimes e-mails just don't seem to make it through the aether, or else are delayed. You can always just ask it to send your turn again (again, look on the website, click on "Mara", and the option is near the bottom of the page).

Re: Mara - EA game for newish players - recruiting
Btw, this weekend is a holiday for us Canuckleheads, and I'm going away for vacation. The latest I would be able to get a turn in would be 07:00 - 09:00 GMT, Saturday August 4th. Then I won't be be able to get a turn in until around 07:00 - 09:00, Tuesday August 6th.
What I can do, if you'd like, is post again in this thread when I've done the last turn I'll be able to before my trip, and ask you to delay it so I don't stale out.
Let me know.

As a warning to anyone else who may think it's a good idea to wage war on poor Maverni. This could be you!

It aint over till its over!
Also, killing mercenaries and bakmeno archers isn't cause for celebration. You know how quickly I can replicate bakmenos?

...not intimidated. : )
