Re: An introduction to Arga Dis, Blood and Bronze
Personally, I would love to see a guide for the Tomb Kings. Especially for the Tomb Kings themselves. They're your heavy magical lifters and there are plenty of obvious things to do with them. But there's always sneaky things that don't quite jump out at you, and with their randoms there are a LOT of options.
Looking back at this thread though, the guide got a lot of love but not a whole lot of comments. It's a bit sad really, Amhazair did a very nice job on it. I guess it's hard to get feedback on mod nation guides.

Seriously, though. If I don't get wiped off the map on turn 10, I'll probably put together something for tomb kings.

Re: An introduction to Arga Dis, Blood and Bronze
As long as we're busy wheedling people into doing guides for mods, anyone up for a Dom3K guide? You could even do just one nation (though I'd be forced to ridicule you and call you a slacker)! Dom3K needs some lovin', nothing's happened with it for a while.

Re: An introduction to Arga Dis, Blood and Bronze
I don't know, dom3k has quite a few nations. Writing a guide for each one would be a lot of work. Dom3k tends to change very quickly also, so a guide cold be outdated pretty quickly.
Anyway, I think there's maybe a bit too much wheedling in this thread. There should be more talk about gilgans and less talk about completely different mods. We should make a new thread to do our wheedling in if we want to continue it.

Re: An introduction to Arga Dis, Blood and Bronze
I'm glad someone picked up the subtle hints for you Sombre. As for myself I wouldn't be opposed to writing another guide - I haven't looked at the newer mods yet, but I do like both Skaven and Tomb Kings, even gave Tomb kings a ~30 turn spin in SP which was the first time in a year I did more than testing early exapnsion in SP. However, I won't feel comfortable writing such a guide without having played them for a while in MP. And given that I've played about a dozen, maybe 15 games total since I discovered the game there's no telling when that might be.
And thanks again to everyone for the compliments. I really did enjoy writing it, and am glad people like it.
Edit: And Ulm Reborn. Whent considering mod nations I tend to think about the group of three (Arga-Sakve-Tomb Kings) MA nations that have seen some general play in a wider setting, but Ulm Reborn looked nice too.

Actually I had already written the other guide, it just didn't get any comments the first time around :P
