Does it matter that I have already tried to download the bloody TDM package and have it stuck somewhere in the folders, what is this winzip lark? does it matter that I have scrawled all over the SEIVG data files so, for example, DUC's in my game are now called autocannon etc?

Hmmm, Kwok, if I really wanted to be nasty I could make uncalled for remarks about how those with the biggest personalities seem to be the ones who DONT know how to do everything on the computer!

I think any of us can work out how to press a button on the tactical and as for how we would do - this is arse kicking time for Canadians! comprendez-moi?

Winzip is one of many software packages that deals with zip files.

Zip files are what as known as archive files. There are many different types of archives, but zip is far and away the most common one on the web.

An archive is essentially a file which is made up of lots of other files, all packaged up into one easy- to handle bundle (like putting a load of loose objects into a box for easy transportation) .

Archives usually use horribly complicated mathematical algorythms to reduce the amount of disk-space that data takes up as well, saving download times and Hard Drive space. But you don't really need to know that bit.

That probably will make a difference. To prevent cheating, SEIV prevents players in multiplayer games from changing their data files or (I think) using different files to one-another.

You wimp out on this game and you have to grow a mistache or beard. That is only fare.! I can't belive I will beat you by default. It would reduce this game to a bunch of "Sound and fury, signifying nothing" Does your mother know you do things like this? mac how do we shame this guy? mac can you send him some of your unmentionables?

Believe me, the only reason I would contemplate NOT being in on the Cantina bash is that I cannot work out how to get the wretched TDM modpack thingy on the pc and as for the patch - bouncing mufflers to that - can't we just play the game in straight 1.6-unadulterated-7??!!!

Never in the field of human conflict has a Growltigga declined a challenge from anyone with silly facial hair, or over the age of 50!! Gryph - that gets you in by 1 and another by default

Chardo Mon - off sorting out your chakra this weekend? is that the same as getting your bits and bobs sorted?
