Re: APC Development and related topics.
Based on the info you provided a "case" could be made that both are ONE PIXEL too long and the ACV is ONE PIXEL too wide
RPT..... ONE PIXEL and in case you didn't know one pixel for vehicle icons = 6 inches
This would be the difference 300% larger than normal
SERIOUSLY ? this is an issue?
EDIT.....I have seen cases where at this scale a couple of pixels especially in width can make an obvious difference when corrected but I don't see that happening in this case

Re: APC Development and related topics.
Russian Unit 870 will do exactly the same thing using exactly the same numbers as this would and it saves using a limited weapons slot for it as we do not have the 25mm aa gun in the Russian OOB

Re: APC Development and related topics.
Meaby add some not standard & small series Russian and (DPR &LPR creativity) vehicles to Red OOB in most cases will be used by scenario creators rather not in campaigns. The same way like overflow German vehicles in SPWW2
Here are different variations of this project:
First ship from where this guns comes from Project 1204 artillery boat with PT-76 tower
MT-LB with various MG for AA purpose they certain are not serial produced

Re: APC Development and related topics.
If you want a modern patrol boat check out the 2023 USMC OOB when it's released.

Re: APC Development and related topics.
I see what's on the web concerning the AMPV however there is at least one more legal step required before the USA can set a fielding date which won't happen until sometime after 3 April, 2023.

Re: APC Development and related topics.
It's nice to know we were only "out" by three months. Betting all that is going on spurred testing to a higher level. I will replace the existing photo with something less " fresh from the factory"

Re: APC Development and related topics.
As I just posted elsewhere, MOD has reset the dates for AJAX which isn't good for us. They apparently did restart the trials for AJAX in NOV/DEC 2022 after a very long pause that I had posted on since the program began. I'm not here to rehash the whole thing as I've got other issues to take care of, but it's all well documented in here if you feel you need more information.
For now, from the ref...
"According to a tweet posted on March 21 by the British Army, positive progress has continued on the next phase of Ajax trials, with the Ministry of Defence confirming the revised in-service dates and resuming payments to General Dynamics for delivery of the programme. With an initial payment of £480 million, withheld since December 2020 (That was 2 YEARS lost to that issue alone-Mine.) due to challenges with noise and vibration, the MOD will resume payments to General Dynamics as the vehicles are scheduled to enter initial operating capability between July and December 2025. "
"Subject to contract amendment, updated schedules direct that Initial Operating Capability will be achieved between July and December 2025, delivering a trained and deployable squadron that can be sustained on operations for up to six months. (What MOD has paid for thus far-Mine.) "
That pushes FOC well into 2026.
Also note from the current picture in the ref. AJAX appears to have an improved armor package as well from what we have now in the game.

I've just been given a new assignment from " HIGHER AUTHORITY" to complete and I better get on it or else I might get " busted down" a paygrade or two.

Pat

Re: APC Development and related topics.
I won't report any further news on the AJAX as it's still not good and follows my last on it at FOC 2028 from MOD.
So, I'll move on to the Ukraine, MARDER A3/A3+ START MAR (Announced on the 29th)/APR 2023.
https://www.armyrecognition.com/defe...nian_army.html
Also, the EU and U.S. from the weapons " BANK Fund" are buying from Poland 100 NEW Production ROSOMAK APC
8x8 as shown in the ref. The contract was signed on the 1st of this month.
HOWEVER, THERE IS NO TIMELINE WHEN PRODUCTION WILL BEGIN OR WHEN THEY WILL BE DELIVERED.
https://www.armyrecognition.com/defe..._vehicles.html
Done for today and probably well until whenever. Time for a walk.!
Regards,
Pat
