Server closed. ECL 12 game. One Barbed Devil disabled but stable, introduced a BBEG very briefly (he didn't stand and fight - he called a conjoured minion to do the job - who failed).
For reference, Devil down to -6 hp.

Did the NPC's react believeably? The BBEG popped in to see what was up (surprise round), and then left to send someone to take care of it; the devil was under a compulsion (and so couldn't simply run away - which, with Greater Teleport at will as a spell-like ability, would have been VERY reliable), and didn't have any experience with the area (had been stuck in a summoning circle until the BBEG set him on us) so didn't know where the traps were.
