Re: An Eye for an Eye
Eriu is not a bad nation at all. Though 1:1 open fights with giants are not its strongest point

Re: An Eye for an Eye
Eriu is a good match for the giants, in that they have great stealth thugs and the giants pd is beyond bad(assuming Utgard's pd is as bad as Jotunheim).

Re: An Eye for an Eye
Utgard PD consists of their human subjects. I seem to recall it was decent enough, if nothing special.

What's the insurance premium increase for 3 more blind werewolves?

GEICO doesn't pay much these days as they claim blind werewolves can still research. Apparently they just sit around on the porch and talk about the good ole days and come up with some pretty good ideas for spells. And since none of what pass for magi in Utgard are sacred anyway it doesn't really matter who is doing the research - they are all expensive.
And I know what you're thinking Cleveland and Utgard is already on Phase II of our plan to turn blind werwolves into Rambo-like killing machines.

Re: An Eye for an Eye
Now instead of a Bank of Ulm, for which there was little need since the first Big Game had established a trading house, someone should have opened up an insurance company.
And players could have taken out insurance on thugs and provinces.
A typical policy for a province could cover against:
Floods, Toad infestation, Locusts, Heavy Snowfalls, and other random events.
For a premium one could purchase "key man" insurance that would insure certain thugs and sc's against certain afflictions and death. Minor afflictions could result in a cash payout, where a major affliction may result in a "total
loss" being declared under the policy.

I think I know what you think I'm thinking, which is why I'm thinking something else. I also know what you're thinking.
I think.
