Did forts get built near it?

Doh...yes-didn't realize there was a movement vector. False alarm. Been having other wierd things happen like random pearls appearing in another game and ability to summon jomonese uniques so I have been overly alert.

Re: Origin - new MA CBM game (Full... started)
Is this level of dropouts or whatever normal? I mean, it's turn 20, and it looks like 4 out of 14 of players will be stale this turn. And can we AI them so it's not too terribly easy for people to conquer them?

Re: Origin - new MA CBM game (Full... started)
This seems to be way more than normal. Vanheim was attacked, so I guess he gave up. I'll set them to AI, since it's unlikely anyone would want to play them.
I'm not sure what happened to Pan, and it looks like they have a sizable amount of land, so I'll see if a replacement can be found. If not, I'll set them to AI before the next turn.
Ryleh and Jotunheim have at least submitted turns recently, so I guess I'll wait and see if they return.

Well Pythium didn't stale so it was 3 out of 4 stales this turn though the way things are going we will soon be dead. We border Pan who has been staling but have not touched one of their provinces for what its worth.

Re: Origin - new MA CBM game (Full... started)
PS If anyone else is having a rough game, I'd just like to commiserate. Between my own poor judgment, a healthy dose of bad luck (despite no misfortune scales) and location, this has been a rough game for the Emerald Empire.
- Never have come up so dry looking for magic sites as this game
- I seem to neighbor Ashdhod/Hinnom/Gath in every game I play these days
- Bogus attacks my only other fort the same turn I get surprise attacked by Ashdod, cuts off my pretender given the wierd geography on my eastern border
- My early hydra army got routed in turn 2 of a battle vs. deer tribe warriors for some fluky reason
- I stupidly built a fort that squelched recruitment of my awesome N1 Deer Tribe Shamans...
Oh well, I am sure others are having a rough time too. I guess C'tis will have no sympathy since I attacked him without warning, but there were all those temples on my border and the Pythian peasants were getting the runs...

I am pretty sure pangaea has disappeared. I have seen other games looking for sub for the same player.
To DC:
I have just seen another fort got attacked by Bogus (in another game). But that one is still under construction by a Fomorian King(well, another 500 gold burned).

No sympathy at all. The solution to that dominion is to build temples of your own, not attack mine. Now you have been repelled and two of my neighbors are staling... you may wish to beg for peace.

Re: Origin - new MA CBM game (Full... started)
No thanks, tearing down undefended temples is cheaper when funds are short. Pyth wasn't actually asking for peace and certainly wouldn't beg for it.
We'll fight 2 nations at once, including E9N4 Ashdod, and Bogus and his band of merry men. Pyth will die on its feet (and soon hopefully).

Re: Origin - new MA CBM game (Full... started)
As long as Pythium is dead I will be happy. What you did to me at the start of the game set me back by about 10 turns! Relying on one of the few units that is immune to my poison too. Unacceptable. No mercy for cowards!
