Re: OT: Stargate
You know, I haven't watched any TV (excepting a bit around the holidays, just because everyone else was) for the past two years now... SGA is sounding promising though.
Hopefully they release the seasons on DVD relatively quickly.
You didn't think I was going to start watching TV again all of a sudden, did you?

Re: OT: Stargate
It has been taken off air on aussie tv - it was one of channel 7 highest raters and yet it was pulled not to return ... yet a shame.

Re: OT: Stargate
To bad there are no legal sites where you could pay to download episodes. The series is mostly on DVD now, and that is also one option, however the cost of shipping internationally is high at the moment and not worth the expendature unless you are willing to spring for the entire six DVD sets, with the Seventh coming in October.
Also Staw Wars, all three movies, Star Wars, Empire, and Jedi are coming out on DVD in September and its just me speaking here, but I WOULD BUY THAT SET!

We had company over and I realized at the re-broadcast time of 11 PM that it was on... So stupidly, with a one-month old in the house, I sat down and watched it while she was blissfully sleeping.
It was a pretty good episode. Although, like most of the two-hour premieres, it could have been boiled down to one hour.

Re: OT: Stargate
I swear on the Atlantis premiere there were some cameo appearances by some minor Canadian entertainment personalites. The sci-fi channel site is down today so there is no way for me to check the casting credits but... I swear I saw that Kids In The Hall guy Scott Thompson running the stargate controls from the Antarctic outpost!
I was looking hard for Michael J. Fox and Geddy Lee!
