your both still better off than me! 1 province seperates atlantis and my capitals. turn 4 and my capital is already being attacked and i have no real way to retaliate against him this early, all i can do is defend. Games already over for me.

Sorry about that
...but for an aquatic nation in this map the way the seas are connected make expanding into land pretty important - i cant reinforce my expansion party if i stick to the sea and if i hit some kraken/sea troll indeps id be screwed.

its not that big a problem to defeat that force you have, the problem is I cant expand this early on while having enough force near my capital to constantly defend it. I basically get to choose who i want to lose to.

ya, he attacked me on turn 3-4, i killed his force and his pretender. He asked me for peace but i declined, and he hasnt played a turn since.

Sorry I was out of town for a few days in an area with poor internet connection - basically forgot to download the needed mapfile onto the laptop so I couldnt send in the turn in time and almost missed the last one.
