Ugh, that sucks. Yes, I agree, this would justify a rehost - but do it quickly, if at all possible.

Also, I'd much prefer that the turns be opened and closed again by someone else (changing the CD entry, yes?) rather than literally resubbed, since follow up turns have now been seen.

A roll back to turn 9 is certainly no problem, and if we do it, I expect any re-submissions to be done quickly (Gandalf should already have the turns for everyone else) and as fairly as possible.

However, it will not be necessary and makes no difference if there is no team ACGHHS anymore.

There is trouble within the team and I am getting multiple resignation PM's. Therefore I have decided we will roll back if any member of team ACGHHS wants to continue and replacements can be found for any missing members. I will extend/delay the current turn as necessary to allow that to happen but within reason. If replacements cannot be found, team ACGHHS will be declared to have conceded by default and all their nations will be turned AI.

I am sorry to hear of these troubles with ACGHHS, especially with the possible loss of the captain of that team (whom I thought was quite innovative and talented) and at least 2 other members. They were and still are 2nd favored to win. But their exit will change the balance of power, that much is certain.

As a follow up to my previous post, I am instructing Gandalf to add an additional 32 hours onto the current hosting interval to allow ACGHHS a chance to find replacements/decide whether they are disbanding/and or get things organized. If ACGHHS, or whoever is left on that team wants more time/decides that they will continue, let me know.

As it looks right now, they appear to be disbanding, so this extra time will probably not be needed, but we shall see. Unless you see/hear anything to the contrary I'd urge everyone else to complete their turns and submit them (in a timely fashion) keeping this fact in mind.

Well, you'd still have the AI team in the center bordering you I suspect, plus any of the southern corner AI locations that remain.

I am not sure if you consider me to be one of those who have resigned or not.

But I am happy for the team to go AI.

ACGHHS was in first or second place, depending on how you reckon it. The team collapsed due to some kind of interpersonal strife? Is this related to the CD-key violation?

Well folks, Chris has indicated that he is working on trying to reorganize his team and that they want to try to remain in the game. Apparently the way they were submitting or completing their turns led to access key violations or something of that nature. Although there are apparently other issues going on with the team.

Team ACGHHS now has 38 hours left to get it together so we can get moving (though I hope we can do something before then). If they can do so (and they have 4 players to play the turns) we will do the roll back that was mentioned (assuming Gandalf can do so). If they cannot, we will set their nations AI and move on. I am sure there are at least two teams that are hungrily eyeing their possessions.
