So, anyone have any clue as to what I should do? I tryed redownloading the mod to see if maybe I just got a bad copy, but to no avail. I really need to be able to see forts and flags.

Did you unzip the subdirectories too? If your unzip doesn't do that by default, you may be missing the "mega" and "sns3" subdirectories in your mods dir. They've got all the .tga files for the flags.

Yeah, I got the mega and sns3 folder in there with the Mega-Age.dm file.
inside the mega folder is megabanner.tga.
inside the sns3 folder is 64 tga files and the preview bmp.

Apparently hitting the 1 key will make all the flags and castles disappear. I opened the game up and starting mashing buttons until I found this out.

Doh, I didn't even think of that, 'cause of the mods. You might want to click on "Map Filters" and turn everything on, I find it's pretty useful.

I had no random event this turn, for the first time. Everything seems to be working ok.

I may never take Misfortune - 3 again, though.

Not only that, Marverni got a random event! So the universe is back in order, or at least the RNG is.
