Is the painting of all the capitols unavoidable if they are used for vp?

On game creation, there's an option for turning off the graphs. What do you mean by "painting of capitols"?

Re: MP Game - Belle Air - now underway
Each capitol in our game is appearently worth one vp, holding five grants apotheosis. I have been presuming that the crowns on the map were in fact all of our various capitols. The marking with crowns is what I was refering to.

Re: MP Game - Belle Air - now underway
Are you sure about that archaeolept? I got the impression we were using vp from your post on July 23:
Game On!
there are 10 players, as opposed to the original conception of 8. As such, the victory conditions are to be the first to hold 4 capitals of vanquished pretenders (while still having your own).

Wow I must look at the preview post button before I post next time. That looks terrible. How do you edit Posts, I have seen evidence of editing on several diffrent threads.
Oh well, off to labor. Hopefully Vigabrand will have submited his turn during my shift.
edit: I have now learned to edit.

Re: MP Game - Belle Air - now underway
Victory Points are just put randomly on the map and in this game don't actually mean anything.

yeah, they don't do much, but are something like 5pts of dom spread per VP. click on one of your temples when you have a VP crown.

Re: MP Game - Belle Air - now underway
I'm going on vacation starting tomorrow, and while I'm planning on submitting my turns (I've called ahead at an Internet cafe), I just wanted to give everyone a heads up, in case something goes wrong. I should check in tomorrow night 7pm (GMT-10), and worst case I'm sure I'll be able to post here, and let you all know if I have difficulty submitting turns. I plan to submit turns once per day, in the evening, if anything goes awry, or if thats too slow for anyone, I have no problems with passing on the position or setting it to AI.

Re: MP Game - Belle Air - now underway
No problems here, thats the beauty of 25h quickhost. And things like this are going to happen unless there's someone who never leaves their house!
Heck, I staled Turn 2...And I'm going camping in a couple of weeks and I'm trying to get a bud to buy this game so I don't stale another turn (he can take it for me). Of course, if I could convince our gracious host to go to 72h that weekend.
