(No, not a BUT, but a BUTT, and that "Butt" would be me!), I have to remember to read the "how" before I "do". I wiped a map in progress with the new right click fill feature and it was all my fault! Learned something the hard way.
However, the new additions are great. Looking forward to overcoming my ignorance and producing some new scenarios. Thanks DRG! Appreciate your hard effort.

Well now that's interesting as the British Army website say's

each battalion having a mortar platoon with three OR four sections; and each section deploying two mortars.

emphasis mine
but nobody seems to want to part with the vital information about when this blessed event occurred and that is something the error ferrets like to call us on so if anyone has good solid information about when all this may have started...please do share it with us.

And preferably in its own thread in TO&E forum, where it belongs as well.

CAN SOMEONE ELSE PLEASE CHECK THEIR winSPMBT GAME GUIDE AND TELL ME IF IT'S MISSING FOR THEM AS WELL. it's the second last entry in the guide in the CD only section at the end

Re: winSPMBT V11 upgrade for 2017
Don,
Sorry I couldn't get this to you earlier, I was up against it to get lunch and get ready for work. Again this occurred with both new Patch's, but, the Win 10 download issue I brought up earlier is still doing it on my PC as I wanted to test it by starting to download the Patch again just a few minutes ago. A light brown box appears (I couldn't copy the image.) with the following text in it...
" Windows protected your PC
Windows SmartScreen prevented an unrecognized app from starting. Running this app might put your PC at risk.
More info Don’t run" The items on this line are buttons.
If you hit the " More info" button you get the following...
" Windows protected your PC
Windows SmartScreen prevented an unrecognized app from starting. Running this app might put your PC at risk.
App: winSPMBT V11 Upgrade (2017).exe
Publisher: Unknown publisher
Run anyway Don’t run" Again button line here.
Click on " Run anyway" I had no problems, normal download and verified such in the game.
Just thought you'd want to have all the data when you contact Shrapnel Games. Again didn't see this on downloading the previous patch's first. They would however be archived in their database, just a thought, but is it possible as the new patch isn't archived if you will, and with the work being done to the Shrapnel Game Website to upgrade it, maybe one or the other (Latter I think.) in the cause?
I do have a but now...That darn map scenery is so GOOD that after I deployed my heavy armor I couldn't find my tanks when I went to start my turn!!! Alright that might be an exaggeration, but, it does look good.
Regards,
Pat

Re: winSPMBT V11 upgrade for 2017
I didn't get the box of warning just the spinning circle of doing nothing.
Short story I opened task manager and killed Smart Screen to get the install to start.

Re: winSPMBT V11 upgrade for 2017
I have DL'd the patches to test this out and the only issue I had was it went so smooth I thought it wasn't running so I clicked on it again and next thing I know I had two of them.
I'm running the most up to date win10, Google Chrome and McAfee. I reported this to Shrapnel and I was told they had one other report but that's all so it all depends on your OS, your browser and your anti-virus and maybe your internet supplier.

Re: winSPMBT V11 upgrade for 2017
I guess I could've given the same...
Updated OS: Win 10/Browser: Mozilla Firefox/Virus Protection: Bitdefender Total Security Suite 2017.
Have a good weekend.
Regards,
Pat

Re: winSPMBT V11 upgrade for 2017
It is Windows 10 "SmartScreen" a Microsoft application that attempts to prevent Phishing attempts and Malware by checking the "Reputation" of the tested file's source - It is VERY unreliable and is ONLY a warning that the file you have selected will make changes to your PC and the source / producer of the file is unknown or not on a VERY small list of "reputable" providers.
If you know the source is reliable, and you have other security (anti-virus, anti-malware, etc) then just hit "Run anyway".
In the case of the patches I got the warnings but after saying "Run anyway" the installs were very fast and smooth.

Re: winSPMBT V11 upgrade for 2017
Well I got same message (I have Windows 10/Mozilla/Avast in my PC). No problem, I just pressed "x" thing in upper corner and installed ok as usual... Especially as I run Avast checking all my d/l'd files always before installing.
