Gulp!

Don't worry, in that OTHER game you're still playing, Ulm is going to stay for a looong time...

Re: Tempest - Random Nations, Early Era (Starting)
I would like to officially withdraw. My scales are not what my pretender's are. And no, I'm not all spazzing about my starting position or throwing donkeys at the independents. I've heard there's a bug, but no thanks. There's zero chance I chose misfortune 2. Zero chance.
Good luck guys and gals.

I'll give it a few hours and see if anyone wants this spot (Agartha) on this thread. If no one responds I'll make a seperate "looking for replacement" thread.
If this is the scale bug they will revert back to what was orginally picked over the next couple turns. It sucks, but typically it's not a game breaker since it happens so early... espeically if it is only 2 misfortune negative.

I created a forum thread to find a replacement player. I will manually set Agartha to AI if we don't get a replacement before the next hosting.

Re: Tempest - Early Era, Random Nations (Signup)
We have a new player for Agartha: Digress!
Digress: Hopefully some neighbors will take into account your slow start and be (slightly) nicer than usual.

Agartha rises again - raises its great fist/claw/thingy in the air and proclaims "Yikes !"

Nix - I noticed you deleted you post... Did you not miss a turn? (I just want to be sure).

Re: Tempest - Early Era, Random Nations (Signup)
I did stall and was wondering why, but I got a helpful PM explaining the intricacies of TCP/IP play... ahem. It's my first network game and I was under the mistaken impression that turns had to run a full duration (24 hours for example) even if all players had played. Everything is much clearer now
