Re: New Mosehansen Game, Paradise Lost
Given how many requests there've been on other game threads, I'm going to set things to 72 or 96 hour after the turn cycles today. If all the players are still active and taking their turns, great, but we won't have people staling just because they forgot they'd be out of town or whatnot.

Oh, flooding joy. Let's everyone kill Ermor, and Illwinter as well for including a spell like Burden of Time.

Re: New Mosehansen Game, Paradise Lost
Wasn't me.
Hmm... always heard about this spell, but never been in a game with it. Can't wait to see what happens now.

Re: New Mosehansen Game, Paradise Lost
Your armies start picking up afflictions as though diseased. Your commanders and mages start getting afflictions, sometimes even dying right away. And you don't get a useful report that would allow you to see who get the afflictions and whatnot, so every turn you basically need to check every single one of your mages and commanders to make sure they're not diseased or otherwise about to die.
And of course if they die while carrying magic items, the magic items are lost. It's a wonderful spell that causes some players to simply go AI when it's cast because of the sheer aggravation factor the spell produces.
Dominion doesn't help against it. There's nothing you can do to protect your mages or troops - if they're not undead or lifeless, they start dropping like carrion flies.

Re: New Mosehansen Game, Paradise Lost
So the only able option is to dispel it, that still works I hope.

Re: New Mosehansen Game, Paradise Lost
Sure - if anyone has boatloads of astral gems to spend on it. Killing the caster (presuming it's not an immortal caster) would get rid of it, as will (sometimes) killing off the nation.

Re: New Mosehansen Game, Paradise Lost
Why boatloads? I've never used Dispel... since it looks like it cost at least 70 gems to cast, does that mean one would need at least 70 to cancel it (even though the Dispel spell only costs 30 to cast)?

Re: New Mosehansen Game, Paradise Lost
Well - look at Ermor's gem income, the highest in the game. Lots of that are going to be death gems, making it unlikely that he cast it with the minimum amount (which I thought was 80).

Next turn: Paradise Lost
Next turn is up, sorry i took so long
But while Burden of time, time is relativ.
I get a message every turn, how many units has been "strucked"
Have anyone an idea how much the percantance chance is for every unit to get afflictons?
