Re: EA DarkParadise (Sign-up)
If you can't handle the job, why don't you give it to Baalz? He said something about being fire resistant....

Re: EA DarkParadise (Sign-up)
GG. If it's any consolation Neifelheim's capital is sieged and Lanka's lands burn under an artillery barrage that will be redoubled now that Astral corruption is up. Only TC has been spared the ironshod bootheel to the face, though arguably I did smack them around first in kicking them out of the water. Hinnom is just such a powerhouse I almost feel guilty....

Re: EA DarkParadise (Sign-up)
HAHAHA!!!
You SHOULD feel guilty, Baalz. Blindsided, back stabbing attack that you conducted against your peace loving next door neighbor!!! Hee Hee. What makes the game so fun, eh?
I don't play a good Sauromatia, but I sure love that nation!! Maybe we'll deal some death of our own while we head out the door. I underestimated the strength of Mictlan's blessed Jaguars, earlier in the game. Had I come in there with some real strength and mages casting Shadow Blasts, I coulda been a bit more competitive. One of my faults is I never hire mercs. I think they helped you expand early, to set up your economic base. I got in the habit of never hiring mercs in SP, to give the AI one more edge, and now I always forget to in MP. Anyway, it was a fun game.
Kudos also go to Mictlan. Uber played that pretty tough. Up against the ropes, he was able to hold off at least 3 major assaults, that cost me way more men than it did him. The real defeat was when he killed all but one of 18 Hydras. That was a serious investment on my part, and I had nothing to show for it, but an invitation to a picnic. Not many legs and thighs on those chicken fried Hydra, but if you're a neck and back fan, there is plenty of that!!!

Re: EA DarkParadise (Sign-up)
The giants of Jotunheim managed to fend of the siege of their beloved great hall... but just bearly.
He killed all my chaff soldiers and left me bare naked with only my thugs and SCs.

Re: EA DarkParadise (Sign-up)
Anyone know Hinnom's home province? Now that he has declared war on the world, it's time to band together and stabinate him.
Polish up your anti-SC tactics, boys. It's about to get bloody.

Re: EA DarkParadise (Sign-up)
Fighting a large Neifelheim army in cold-3...bad.
Fighting them in their home province with all their research mages available....very bad.
Fighting them supported by a +10 dominion decked out Cyclopse...horrible.
Fighting them supported by Kurgi Slave to Unreason....Doh!
I guess astral corruption supercharges call horror. Sure sent me home with my tail between my legs.

Re: EA DarkParadise (Sign-up)
I just went AI. At this point I have about as much chance of getting anywhere as a snails fart in front of a really big fan. I have two provinces and one army. Soon, Hinnom will take the time to notice that army and then it will die.
Besides, this saves any possibility of confusing my Mictlan turn files with those of my Mictlan position in DeadlyMedley.
It was fun folks.
