Re: Pyrothere - LA slowpace game: 13 signed up so far, and room for more
That would be oversized. There's a map posted here that looks about right. Any comments?

Re: Pyrothere - LA slowpace game: 18 signed up
i think it looks good, especially for a slow pace game, considering that it has enough open land for huge battlefields but enough other terrain to use as an asset. I'm feeling pretty good about this map.
I'm willing to look at alternatives, though. should we get a list of possible maps and take a poll?

I'm not super picky about the map, but the 15 provinces per player thing is tight.
If you're taking a poll on it, I'd prefer slightly more breathing room, like 20.

Ludivico, you're down as C'tis now
Baalz wrote a nice guide to communions which might help you understand them better, by the way.
Unless people (including myself) find something wrong with the SpringRain map linked in my earlier post, we'll be using that.
I'll also be closing the game to new players at this point.

Re: Pyrothere - LA slowpace game: 18 signed up
Hokay. I've taken the map and after a bit of a struggle I've set some start points. The map's a little short on choke points, but never mind. Everyone should have 5 neighbours to their capital.
I've put the game on llamaserver, so feel free to submit your pretenders as soon as you like.

Re: Pyrothere - LA slowpace game: Submit pretenders
Gregstrom me old mate,
the link for the map down load appears to lead one to a post in the babylon 5 mod for space empires. Any chance you could ah, make the necessary adjustments please?

I can't adjust the link on llamaserver, sadly. Instead, I'll put the link here and in the top post.
