Re: Official Image Collection
But you just paste them at the end of the mini bmp, and rename them using a program with batch rename capabilities, such as IrfanView.
I vote to add those components to the image mod.
You could always use RAR files to drastically reduce download sizes...

200 components, zipped, would add about 7.5 megs to that...

Re: Official Image Collection
There are currently components all the way up to #1300.
Including both minis and portraits, this compresses to 9.9 (zip) and 8.5 (rar) megs.
200 would be less than 20% more.

Re: Official Image Collection
I can't even imagine now using Winzip now. Winrar is a much better program and I use that all of the time now.

Re: Official Image Collection
IF,
Got a question about Winrar. I've had 2 files this morning saying that the files couldn't be split into smaller files. This is the first time I've seen this error message, and was wondering if it a common error, or did I just get 2 messed up files.

Re: Official Image Collection
OK, I may have discovered the reason. I was using WinRar 3.11. I'm currently downloading v3.20. Hopefully that will work on these files.

Re: Official Image Collection
Nope, that didn't work. I'm still getting that error message. Anyone know what else I can try?

Re: Official Image Collection
Were they zip files? You can not make multi-part archives out of zip files, only real compression formats (rar, tar.gz, ace, etc.).
