Re: Pangea Seems to Be Smoking Its Own Undead Weed
"Marignon, now that Patala's gone AI, it would seem best to wipe him out ASAP, before the AI screws everything up."
Too late. Patala already invaded me. Didn't have much defenses since Patala and I have been solid allies the entire game. And now I'm at war with them with my troops battling Marignon. Argh.
I'll also be gone next week on vacatin.

No problem Ballbarian
Alexandrians, Looks like I may need a few extra hours this evening to get my turn in - thought it was due Saturday but see now it is Fri night my time. If there are no objections I will add 6 hours to the deadline.
Thanks.

Re: Pangea Seems to Be Smoking Its Own Undead Weed
the armies of Argatha, after beginning to inflict losses in Pythiums capital, while suffering none of their own, but losing a few iron dragons to control spamming, decided to suddenly quite the field of battle before a single heavy hitter could take a swing. The commanders had just finished their buff sequence.
the routing mechanics are too goofy. If I had gone into that battle with only the two commander units, I might have won. because I decided to take the dragons with me, I lost as soon as a couple became controlled.
Its reasons like that that I don't give my SCs the nifty Wraith Crown I forged for them; they rout when their little entourage gets killed. Without it, they fight just fine.

Re: Pangea Seems to Be Smoking Its Own Undead Weed
Yeah the routing mechanics can be really frustrating at times. Especially when the number of units you field in the battle starts to get really low. There were tons of complaints about this during the beta but its actually quite difficult for the programmers to accurately determine (in code) when the correct time to rout is.

Pangean Riffraff
In response to a recent influx of Pangean aliens sneaking across the TC border, the Ministry of Domestic Observation has combined forces with the Ministry of Homeland Defense to implement a Watcher construction program combined with drafting the legendary Giant Eagles of Mt. Woo as patrollers.
Beware stealthy ones. We will be watching.
