Re: Sak\'s Duel
A public service announcement:
Proposition 27 has been extended again, since it has failed to make the quorum. One more vote is needed in the next 17 hours or it will fail by virtue of too few votes.

Lord Pasha has voted... so I think you have a quorum now.

Strange tar files
I get tar files when I download them from hotmail I have no idea why. I can open the file and see that there is a zip file inside but I can't extract or get to it. It doews not work to change the file extension to zip then it will just say that the file is broken.

Re: Strange tar files
Just created a hotmail account to test this, and sure enough - seems that hotmail is screwing things up, won't simply save a file with the filename specified for the attachment. Seems to be getting confused because Panther's mail sends it out specifying content type of x-tar, but that shouldn't matter.
Might ask Whollaborg how he accesses the files, since he seems to use hotmail also (but may be using a paid version that allows DLing the mail to outlook).

Re: Strange tar files
It perhaps could be complicated by the fact that I was sending out the files through COMCAST when I was in DC. At home, I am using OUTLOOK. This next turn will be sent out using OUTLOOK, so maybe it will work for Folket this time. I do know that Whollaburg is having no problems with either method.

Move to DC
My paperwork to move to DC was finally approved late last week. I will thus be leaving New Mexico on Wednesday to drive across the country. I will have my laptop and I hope to find internet access occasionally to avoid delaying this game. But if you don't see the move from me on Thursday, then you will know why.
I will be arriving in my Virginia apartment on Monday, February 13. I don't know how long it will take to set up a new internet connection while there. Unfortunately, Comcast does not do the East Coast, so I will have to go to a different provider (Cox, I believe).
Hopefully, I will be settled in within two weeks so things will get back to some semblance of normality.

Re: Move to DC
Congrats and good luck with the move, Panther - glad we managed to get together for a beer before you left.

Turn 44
I have sent out Turn 44. Machaka has staled (again!).
The next deadline is Tuesday at 5 PM MST. Please get yours turns in on time since I will be packing that night and will not have a lot of time for Dominions.
