Rabelais:
No need to apologize, the 'turnX, you are Last' post is just a remainder. All other players got it at some point or other, because there is always a Last player.
Cherry:
Most amusing! Do not underestimate the mighty Poldarn & his war host tho.

'like a plague' Exactly, listen to Angrod, cleaver fellow that, you should really pay attention to him.

Re: AranMP game (renamed)
You know, Rabe, there's a disturbingly large Ulmish army building up on my border. For somebody who just lost his precious heroine - to indies - this disturbs me, because one tactical error begets others. And invading me would certainly be a tactical error.
Unfortunately, it would seem that you have so many priests in that province that they are actually listed as a major component of the army. Should I assume that they are for defensive purposes?
Rabe, I am a very honest and trusting... um, being. I love my neighbors. But sometimes my citizens get suspicious of unusual border activity... and one thing they REALLY HATE is priests. Too darn preachy. Act all holier-than-thou, then smite you.
Anyway, if you could fill me in on your intentions... my citizens would be much more restful.
-Dust of Doom
P.S. An arrow struck one of my commanders from out of the blue. Having no flesh, it seems to have gone right through his ribcage, doing no damage! How funny! I wonder who it could have come from?

Re: AranMP game (renamed)
That pesky Mound King survived? What a statistical weirdness, his like often goes down in one hit.
Your commander should have checked the arrowshaft (or his entrails) for Messages, something like 'We are watching you' written on a parchment.
Not that we would know anything, of course.

The loss of the unicorn wench is regrettable. I had some trinkets on her I hoped would keep her alive in extremis, but apparently my smiths overstated their efficacy... again. They will be chastened.
The priests are in fact intended defensively. Proof of concept, if you like. As of Last turn you has ~800 units tangent to my new castle, I just wanted to make clear how quickly they can be massed, if needed. Point taken?
They will disperse after they have dealt with the local effects of your odious influence.
Winds of freedom indeed.

I have no intentions. Your citizens are, I agree, very much in need of a rest from their decidedly idiosyncratic state of arousal, but the time is not yet come.
I have not decided whether I am rescuing the illithids or the firefolk from their respective perils... new come to power as I am, I have not sorted out my friends from my interests.

You might check with someone else...perhaps with air sorcery at their disposal? The four elements are represented quite distinctly in our world, and air is not mine.

Re: AranMP game (renamed)
Hey Wendigo, I sent you a new .2h file for turn 37/38
Please use the second one as the first has some dumb mistakes in it...
(that I know about for once )
Thanks,
Rabe the Unready

Re: AranMP game (renamed)
Ok Rabe, will trash first file.
For everybody: currently waiting on R'lyeh & Ermor.
All in all I am pretty satisfied with how the game is flowing, let's keep the pace and not fall further than a couple days between turns.
The only thing I am not too happy with is that scoreboard, it gives far more info on what is going on that the old Dom I charts used to do, it kills part of the fun of not knowing what to expect.

Still waiting on R'lyeh. Sent him a 2nd notice & asked if he wants to be subbed.
Cheers,
