If Pangea agrees its 5 turns I will stay of course and play.

I want him to realize that I will have served the notice that the 5 turn Nap is now null and hostilities can commence on turn 24 and I will be Napped with TC as I will attack Pangea.

IF he feels that the only way to survive is to keep to the 50 turn Nap that I think MUST be a typo as he is not some NOOB and a good player, I will honor that and withdraw.

Furthermore, I will NOT hold it agianst him in future games in any way, shape, or form.

Nor will I mention it ever happened to anyone.

I could have read my notebook as soon as I got back home so I am at fault also.

I just want to make it clear that this is a massive screwup and not just on one persons fault.

I am very embarrased that this happened but will live with it and learn.

Thanks for all the support from the other nations.

Actually (LOL), I liked the way Helheim put it in the forum!!!

I will check back and will go in any direction you gentlemen decide.

I would suggest you talk to Pangea in privite with the knowledge nothing will be held agianst him regardless of what he says or does.

I REALLY feel bad I put him in this situation as If I had been here, this of course would not have happened.

I agree that a nation my size would disrupt the game as some will get numerous Provinces with no risk and shoot ahead of others....regardless of how much I try and compensate the others.

But Pangea is no less valuable to the game and he is a good player.

I will just say this....

If it was a 3 turn Nap I would have attacked him, and if it was a 5 turn Nap I also would have attacked him (I may not have won but I would have attacked).

But I also am a stickler for the unwritten rules and sometimes things just fall thru the cracks.

I don't want to hold the game up as we where cruising right along (good job folks!!), but I have my turn set up for an exit and if I am staying I need to talk to TC and redo my turn.

Because of Mothers Day we are not playing out of town and I am taking a well deserved break at the Pub this evening, I will check the Forum before I go out (in about 4 hours max) and have been known to close it up more than once.

Thanks for the support Scoop and Joe.

I know this looks simple to work out but lets not forget Pangea is in this also.

One thing I like about D3 is that there is a multitude of serious gamers and very intelligent people from all over the world that care about the game just because it is a game....

I am to prepare to drool all over myself now and will check later, I hope but can't promise that I won't feel like this in the morning.

... and that's by far the most important thing ... it's a game ... we want to have fun with it. Letting you drop out of the game because of a typing error is just stupid and not fun for us all. So let's hope will get it back to normal.
Don't get stressed ... as i said the game is postponed ... it is a very good game so far and i don't want to let it getting wasted this way.

Greetings

Sorry about not providing my input, I did not see any new posts been made in an extended period of time and thought that this discussion is inactive.

GrudgeBringer, there is no need for you to stop playing. If I were to know that a 50 turn NAP is not agreeable by you, I would not have made it in the first place.

A 5 turn NAP will be just fine.

have you read the whole post on this....I have brokrn the Nap effective this turn, sent your gems back and have Napped up with TC,

I will be attacking you in 5 turns this counting as turn 1.

I want to make sure you understand this whole situation before I do anything....

If I don't hear from you or get any input I will assume you have read this whole thread and agree.

I'm sorry about the 50 turn Nap...there is just no way anyone can have that in a game from the start.

But I wWILL bow out if you think it means you won't survive a joint attack.

You make the call and then I will submit my turn as we are on hold right now.

Hello everyone,

I didn't want to say anything on the NAP 5/50 issue as T'ien Ch'i in this case is directly affected. However, Mighty_Scoop reminded me that, as the creator of the game, I should give a statement as well.

This is the first MP I have directly participated in but I have followed a few. I played a lot of SP and as far as I can tell from these games and respective map sizes, a NAP 50 will hinder any player (including Pangaea in this case) considerably. Without giving any in-game info away, it is safe to say that both races would virtually be trapped by such a NAP. Pangaea has agreed to a NAP 5 and Grudgebringer definitely has no reason to fear his reputation, this clearly was a mistake. So Denisius, if all is cool with you, the next turn will be hosted at 1800 GMT on Monday (I finally got to know the hosting magic..).

cheers,

T_B

Thank you for clarifying things, and thier is no assurance we will win the war to start with...as I said Pangea is a capable player in his own right.

I an redoing my turn and will be as before withthe same Naps (except pangea and I will commence hostilities (if any) in 5 turns (this being turn 1)

I look for peace with my other brothers and have no fear that they have been following the forum and our boundries are safe and defined.

I am sorry to put you all through this and hope its the last discussion we will have to have.

Good luck to all and sorry you all arn't getting any goodies
