Re: OT: The House of 1001+ Avatars
SJ, my only intentions are to draw some medals and have fun, I was not creating 'Groups' of any kind. Here are three more, including a possible new one for exploration. (the third one here with the way-points and wings!) I'm glad you like them.

Cheers!
P.S. You'll have to decide which medals to use for what on your own, the purple heart was easy! the others are subject to interpretation.

Re: OT: The House of 1001+ Avatars
Ok, fine with me
How about some weaponry ones?
A pair of crossed CSMs as if they were swords or something.
Maybe a starship engraved into the medal? (PBC is using the Terran shipset)

SJ, Is this for the SE by comitee forum? If so do you want it to be in the same style as those (48w X 32h)or do you want it to be different (24w X 48h as you mention above!)? Do you want a badge, or would you like a medal/ribbon type?
|
- Yep. Captain Tesco has just done some exploring
- Same style, new shape (players should be collecting quite a few of these type of things and will need room to string them together).
- Either will do. I'm leaning towards the badge at the moment, since it isn't as spectacular as the potential combat medals.
Oh, and in this particular case, I think a transparent background would be best.

You have to make sure to click on "set url", then accept, then make sure to update your profile. Otherwise, the avatar change will not stick.

Re: OT: The House of 1001+ Avatars
another three medals, to bring the total up to 18 (not counting the 'eye' medal that imho seems out of place with the others!)..

1048950284.gif

Cheers!
Edit: P.S. SJ, I tried to shrink a ship to place on a medal, but they all turned out looking like blobs. I guess the ships were not meant to be 14x14 pixels!
